In the piece with the feathers and the vase, you handled the texture of feathers in an interesting way. Do you have a good understanding of inks and washes? I would like to see the textures pushed throughout the piece. Playing with washes is a great way to build layers and hopefully provide more visual interest. What is the piece ultimately about? If you are playing with textures, i would recommend pushing it.

The piece with a single feather is very nice. The varying texture in comparison to the feather in the vase is interesting. What was your process? This may be one of your strongest pieces in my opinion. The lines around the feather may be too heavy as they break up the atmosphere that the feather creates. I LOVE the feather. Whatever you did to create that, i would experiment doing it in other pieces as well.
